Information We Collect
Assessment responses
When you take the WorkCoach career assessment, we collect your answers to 8 career-related questions. These responses are processed by AI to generate your personalised career report. Assessment data is not sold to third parties.
Email address
After completing the assessment, we ask for your email address to send your full report. This is optional — you receive partial results without providing an email. If you provide your email, we may also send career-related content. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Information collected automatically
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool. Plausible does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and is fully compliant with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. The data collected includes:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website
- General geographic location (country level)
- Browser and device type
No individual visitor tracking occurs. All analytics data is aggregated.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate your personalised career assessment report
- Send your full report via email (if you opt in)
- Send career-related content and updates (if you opt in)
- Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
We do not sell your data. We do not share your assessment responses with third parties for marketing purposes.
AI Processing
Your assessment responses are processed by AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate personalised career recommendations. Your responses are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training. For more information, see Anthropic's privacy policy.
Cookies
Our marketing website (https://workcoach.ai) does not use cookies. We use Plausible Analytics, which is a cookieless analytics solution. No cookie consent banner is required or shown.
The assessment app (app.workcoach.ai) may use essential cookies for session management. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not require consent under UK GDPR.
Data Retention
Email addresses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Assessment responses are retained for up to 12 months to allow you to access your report, after which they are deleted.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing of your personal data
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
